Julianna Byrne is a Cornwall based artist who practices mainly with oils, pastel and gouache and creates ethereal paintings presenting dreamscapes and mystical worlds. Her inspiration lies in the raw nature and folklore of her surroundings in north Cornwall.
Byrne's work is a continuous meditation on the sublime, a pursuit of the mysterious, beautiful, and deeply personal stories hidden in the heart of nature. They are spooky yet serene, inviting the viewer into a state of wonder.
Julianna Studied at London college of Communication, UAL where she received a BA hons in Illustration in 20214. She has since had exhibitions and partaken in residencies in the UK and internationally. She is currently represented by Partnership Editions.
